Autumn / Winter 2021
Introducing our new Autumn/Winter collection “Inspiration”! It has a very special meaning to us, as it is the first collection as "Mas Laus". We have released more than 15 collections in 25 years as "Batų Namai", our old lithuanian brand name, before rebranding to "Mas Laus" this year. We did it so we can make our biggest dream come true - become an international brand! As our founder, late Žanas Maslauskas once said "My dream is to see people wearing our shoes in the most beautiful places of the world!"
This is the reason why our new collection is called "Inspiration", and all the shoe models are named after the things that inspire us and our desing - architecture, nature, love, passion..
This collection is another step towards making slow fashion the only fashion in the world. As we are proud to be a slow and sustainable fashion brand. We never chase the trends, as we always create only the timeless design footwear, which is made using only premium quality leather and materials. All of our shoes are limited edition and handcrafted without using any machines or big factories, as we care about our environment and the future.
"Trends are too temporary for slow and sustainable fashion. When i design new collections i always look for balance between design, comfort and quality. Our shoe design must be timeless, and the materials must be sustainable. I think that our job as footwear creators is to find that perfect balance between comfort and unique design, no matter if the shoes are sneakers or high heels, they still must have that balance. Only then we can expect people to start supporting slow fashion more, because then they will not have to purchase a pair of new, cheap shoes every month in order to always have one pair of beautiful shoes and another of comfortable ones. I believe that we are the brand of the future, and we feel that people value what we do and represent as a slow fashion brand." - "Mas Laus" designer Gintarė Maslauskienė
